Waiting for True Love

 

Translucent green glaze pools in the carved portions of the small porcelain teapot.

 

Fat Toad waits in the tall grasses for his true love to find him and kiss his lips.  A cocoon grows on the teapot that also has Fat Toad's warts covering the handle and teapot lid.
