Lily on Koi Pond

 

 

Degussa Orange translucent glaze pools in the carved areas of the porcelain sculpted teapot. The bamboo handle holds the reeds that rise out of the koi pond. A small frog hides under the lily pad.

 

The wind is picking up the lily pad, flipping up the pad's edges. The pond is swept by the wind as the koi swirl in a rhythmic response.
